The New Moon in Gemini is on the horizon, and with it we have an opportunity to plant the seeds of our deepest hopes and dreams. This season is a supportive one for nurturing the flame that burns bright in our hearts, and connects us to all of creation. It helps prepare us for the heat of the summer cycle, the time in which internal and external fires reach their summit. This moment also reminds us to value the sun for the warmth it provides, and for the inspiration it freely shares.
In the six years that I’ve been writing this blog the focus and structure continue to change. One thing that remains true is my belief and commitment to community—online and off. Today I’m sharing a survey created especially for this community. Before that, allow me to give you the 411 about my intentions, and what I hope to learn.
We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community… Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sake and for our own. —Cesar Chavez
I’ve created a few different types of community surveys prior to this one, and I honestly enjoy the process. Surveys are often a useful tool for gathering qualitative research information, and often include narrative responses from participants. Storytelling is a trully unique and powerful gift we get to experience as human beings. I believe the best way to really get to know people is to reach out, strike up a conversation, and listen. This survey is an attempt to do just that.
As I prepare to delve more deeply into integrative healthcare, I want to know more about you—the community of readers who read this blog. I’m especially curious to learn more about what wellness and medicine mean to you. The survey includes a mix of multiple choice, and short or long answer questions. I also made sure include ample opportunities for you to write-in as many comments or questions you may have.
I believe that consent and safety are important pillars in building community. While I do ask for an email address, you also have the choice to opt-out of future mailings at the end of the survey. Please feel free to email me at yoetsateproductions (at) gmail (dot) com with any pressing concerns.
The survey has a total of 10 questions and will take between 15-20 minutes to complete, depending on how much feedback you want to share. As a way to express my thanks for taking the time to fill out the survey, I will provide a free desktop download. Once the survey results are analyzed, I will share the results on the blog. To complete the survey follow the link below.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. I appreciate you, and look forward to reading your responses!
