Signs of Spring

Processed with VSCOcam with e1 presetIf you’re reading this in a part of the world where it’s super grey, snowy, or cold, I’m, here to tell you that spring is actually not as far as you think. The Chinese New Year, which is also known as the Spring Festival, marks the time of year that begins the transformation from winter to spring. Not to be confused with the Vernal Equinox, which is the first day of spring. Yes, it’s true. We have just begun the process of moving towards warmth, but the hard part is already over.

Yesterday I noticed these flowers blooming on my walk home. The yellow and purple hues are so delightful, yes? They remind me to be brave, and compassionate. Two important characteristics to keep close to the heart when going through any type of change. This photo really does not do them justice, but I hope it resonates with you in some way.

Two more tests next week, and then I will have a nice week-long break. So stoked about that! This weekend I am making it a priority to get outside and enjoy the warmer temps. If you’re looking for a few fly and free activities, check out my list of ideas for active couples. Have a blessed Friday!

In Solidarity,

Christian
